Muslims in higher and further education project
The Greater London Authority (GLA) commissioned OPM to conduct research into the experiences of Muslim students in London’s higher and further education institutions. Find out more on our page of examples
We work with strategic bodies and individual institutions in the school, higher education, further education and learning and skills sectors. We also work on all aspects of the children’s services agenda.
We have expertise and experience in issues concerning leadership development, governance, customer focus, change management and consulting their stakeholders and communities. Our clients include policy makers, top teams, programme and project managers, local service providers and service users – including children and young people
We help them to carry out a wide range of work that includes:
- policy development
- change and organisational development
- research and consultation with diverse stakeholder audiences – including children and young people – using both qualitative and quantitative techniques
- collaborative events that bring education professionals, policy makers and service users together
- futures work using Delphi surveys, expert panels, scenario-building and visioning techniques
- disseminating best practice, for example through action learning sets, case studies, process evaluation
- designing and running leadership and management development programmes for organisations working within the education and skills sector
- working with boards and senior management teams on issues such as governance, HR practices and diversity
- executive coaching.
