Why Health?
We've completed a study for the London Development Agency, exploring the links between health improvement and sustainable economic development. OPM has a long history of supporting and developing health and social care organisations, professionals and managers. We work with the NHS, social services, private sector providers of public services, partnerships, networks and whole systems to help them improve the health and care of their communities, develop more responsive services and increase organisational performance. Policy and strategy

We use methods such as business & strategic planning support tools, whole system simulations and futures work to help organisations respond to complex policy challenges. Issues of equality and diversity are at the forefront of this work.

Improving services and performance

We help organisations to re-structure, manage and develop their services to meet the needs of stakeholders. We are experienced in service review, streamlining care pathways and performance improvement.

Developing organisations

To help organisations respond to the changing policy climate and service culture, we support both commissioners and providers as they develop partnership working and robust commissioning processes.

Developing leaders and managers

We provide leadership and management development to people at all levels in health and social care organisations. We have accredited coaches and users of psychometric tools who undertake coaching and assessment and development centres to help build strong teams with the right mix of skills. We also help board members to understand their roles and contribute to effective governance.

Patient and public engagement

We undertake much work supporting patient and public involvement and conducting market analyses to support this. Furthermore, we specialise in large-scale consultation events that bring together key stakeholders to develop fit-for-purpose solutions to challenges facing the sector.

Our health and social care team works closely with other parts of OPM enabling us to offer a wide range of techniques in stakeholder engagement, leadership and management development and research and evaluation.
